This fantastic facility is designed with ice sports in mind, the ice pad also offers regular opportunities and themed events for social skaters of all ages.
Auchenharvie Ice Rink accommodates local and regional level ice hockey, ice dance, figure skating and speed skating competitions and offers scope to train, develop and increase user club membership. The curling community have also benefited from the inclusion of an additional lane, which will help to support the development of local clubs.
Learn to skate with one of our 10 cute penguin ice skating aids which are designed to help children under 10 years of age keep their balance and build confidence on the ice.
Due to a main event there will be NO PUBLIC SKATING or ICE DISCO from Thursday 30th August to Sunday 2nd September.
The normal programme will resume on Monday 3rd September.

Penguin Skate Aids
Ten cool penguin skaters are at the ice rink just waiting on some younger children to choose them!
Younger children love these cute penguin ice skating aids which are designed to help children under 10 years of age keep their balance and build confidence on the ice.
Paul-E and his pals are available for hire on a first come first served basis during public ice skating sessions at a cost of £2 for 30 minutes.

Learn to Skate
Both Ice Dance Clubs resident at Auchenharvie Ice Rink offer learn to skate sessions as part of Skate UK, a National Ice Skating Association’s (NISA’s) flagship learn-to-skate programme for beginners of all ages that teaches the fundamental movements and basic skills.
The programme emphasises fun and continuous movement and is taught in a group lesson format; Skate UK is taught by licensed NISA coaches and can be assisted by trained Programme Assistants. For more info visit iceskating.org.uk/skateuk or contact one of our resident clubs below.
