This hilly, moorland course offers the golfer an unforgettable experience.
Routenburn Golf Course, opened 1914, is a fantastic example of a James Braid designed golf course. Although not the longest course, at 5262 yards, this hilly, moorland course offers a challenge for all levels of golfers as well as some breathtaking views over to Arran, the Cumbraes and beyond.
From sloping greens, to blind tee shots, Routenburn has it all. Golfers of all abilities enjoy the tricky par 3’s, testing par 4’s and deceptively difficult par 5’s, however breaking par of 68 is never an easy task… just ask our members!
But concentrating on the golf may be difficult… the views are among the finest in Scottish golf.
In short, Routenburn is a small, friendly club which offers great golf, outstanding scenery and unbeatable value for money… our joining fees are the cheapest for miles and miles.
PGA Professional Greig McQueen is based on site at Routenburn providing a well stocked shop as well as golf instruction and coaching for golfers of all levels.
