In Safe Hands

Course Description: This three-hour workshop supports clubs to put child protection policies into practice. It is most suitable for those acting as the club child protection officer but is also relevant for those responsible for managing or organising the club.
NOTE: You must have completed the Child Wellbeing and Protection in Sport course before attending the In Safe Hands course.

UK Disability Inclusion Training
Date: 02/10/2019

Course Description: An introduction to disability sport in Scotland recognising perceptions and experiences, identifying terminology and communication, articulating current legislation, outlining barriers, identifying participation opportunities and providing further contacts. Cost: £20 Per Person

Leading a Group of People & Managing Events (This is 2 courses)

Course Description:
Leading a Group of People – 1.5 Hours

By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:
• Deliver a range of ice-breakers
• Understand and set ground rules
• Identify different ways to organise groups of people
Managing Events – 1.5 Hours
By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:
• Identify the key stages in planning an event
• Identify the roles of event managers
• Identify methods to review your event

Questioning and Active Listening & Providing Effective Feedback (This is 2 Courses)

• Create an environment to provide feedback
• Utilise a number of feedback models
