Seasonal Assistant Greenkeepers – 3 posts – temporary from 18 April until 17 October 2020

Rate of Pay: £8.21 per hour

Hours: 30 hours per week

Job Purpose:

  • Promote Health & Safety of customers and staff
  • Assist in providing a quality service to customers
  • Work well within a team

Main Activities:

  • Grass cutting
  • General ground maintenance
  • Operation of machinery
  • Inspections of Golf Course as required


  • Experience in ground maintenance/landscaping
  • Experience in greenkeeping
  • Desirable Minimum Level 2 in greenkeeping but not essential

Role Summary:

Job Purpose:

  • To provide administrative and clerical support to the Active Lifestyles Team and other departments across the Company as required
  • Support customer enquiries for all projects
  • Maintain databases and records within the Physical Activity programme ensuring compliance with confidentiality and access
  • Processing invoices and orders within the Companys electronic ordering system

You Must Have:

  • Qualification in Business Administration
  • Working experience of all Microsoft Office programmes
  • Customer service experience

Relief Swimming Instructor

Job Purpose:

  • Promotion and delivery of swimming lessons to children and adults as part of the KA Leisure swimming programme
  • Prepare and deliver a variety of swimming lessons
  • Encourage and promote KA Leisure swimming lesson programme
  • Ensure the health and safety of all staff and customers

You Must Have:

  • Current teaching/coaching certificate as approved by the relevant Governing Body of Sport
  • Availability to work evenings and/or weekends

Relief Dance Instructor

Job Ref: L1060
Rate of Pay: £19.24 per hour
Hours: As and when required
Location: Various locations throughout North Ayrshire

Job Purpose:

  • To deliver dance across KA Leisure and community facilities as part of the KA programme
  • To deliver dance within schools and nurseries
  • To deliver specialist dance for older adults in the community
  • To deliver dance for children with additional support

You Must Have:

  • HNC/HND in dance, degree in dance, BATD, RAD, ISTD various styles or equivalent
  • Experience in instruction of dance
  • An outgoing personality, positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Own transport would be an advantage
