Hours: 4 hours per week – Monday 5pm until 9pm
Location: KA Campus West Kilbride, West Kilbride Community Centre, Corse Street, West Kilbride, KA23 9AX
Role Summary:
Job Purpose:
- Provide fitness instruction, gym inductions and create customer programmes
- Actively encourage potential subscribers to join and ensure the retention of existing subscribers
- Set up equipment in accordance with facility bookings
- Take responsibility for the general safety, preparation and cleaning of facilities whilst delivering excellent customer service
You Must Have:
- Level 2 recognised gym qualification

Physical Activity Consultant
Job Ref: L1173
Rate of Pay: AP1 – £20,547.75-£21,895.20 per annum
Hours: Fulltime – 37 hours per week (also suitable for 2 part-time posts)
Location: Various locations across North Ayrshire
Role Summary:
- To proactively promote and deliver within the Health & Wellbeing Service and all related projects delivered by the Active Lifestyles Team
- Organise, promote and deliver a range of activities and classes within the community as part of the programme
- Delivery of health checks and healthy lifestyle advice to clients and be able to identify where appropriate and refer to partner agencies
- Carry out physical activity consultations and provide safe and effective exercise prescription for participants referred into the Active North Physical Activity on Referral Scheme
- Maintain databases and records within the Physical Activity programme ensuring compliance with confidentiality and access
You Must Have:
- Qualifications in physical activity, health, wellbeing and fitness
- REPS Level 3 Qualification in Physical Activity on Referral or working towards this (assistance may be given in gaining this qualification to the right candidate)
- Full drivers licence

Job Purpose:
- Promotion and delivery of swimming lessons to children and adults as part of the K:A Leisure swimming programm

- Current teaching/coaching certificate as approved by the relevant Governing Body of Sport
