What is On-Site Seated Acupressure?

Seated Acupressure

Often referred to as “chair massage,” is a highly effective and convenient form of bodywork performed on a specially designed ergonomic massage chair. Unlike traditional table massage, the client remains fully clothed and sits in a comfortable, forward-leaning position.

The practitioner uses a combination of acupressure, Swedish massage, and deep tissue techniques to target common areas of tension in the back, neck, shoulders, arms, and hands. This focuses on stimulating specific acupressure points and muscle groups, aiming to release stress, reduce muscle soreness, and promote relaxation.

Key Benefits:

  • Convenient & Time-Efficient:
Sessions typically last between 10 and 20 minutes.
  • Fully Clothed: No need for disrobing, ensuring comfort and privacy.
  • Stress Reduction: Helps alleviate stress, anxiety, and mental fatigue.
  • Pain Relief: Addresses common aches and pains, such as neck stiffness, shoulder tension, and lower back discomfort.

Please see contra indications prior to attending for an onsite seated massage. You will be asked to complete a screening form prior to your massage.
