From Paths For All

We’re here to keep you moving and keep you connected.

Our spring Step Count Challenge is back on the 4th of May, but not as you know it.

With the recent outbreak of Covid-19, many of us have seen our regular routines and activities turned upside-down. But it is as important as ever that we do what we can to look after our physical and mental wellbeing. Keeping moving and staying connected is one way we can do this.

This year’s spring challenge is extra special. We’re making some changes behind the scenes to bring you a month long opportunity to stay active and have some fun with your colleagues during these strange times. The key changes to this special challenge are:

  • It’s free. We’re offering free places for everyone across Scotland.
  • New app syncing capabilities. We’ve launched a new Step Count Challenge website that’s not only slicker and easier to navigate, but also includes some step count app integration.
  • Every movement counts. While previous challenges often motivate people to clock up tremendous step counts, this challenge will simply be focused on supporting you to do small bouts of activity however you can.
  • Focus on connecting. The Step Count Challenge is always about giving you and your colleagues something social and fun to enjoy together. But this time more than ever, we’ll be finding ways to support your teams to link up remotely.

We’re working hard to get everything ready for you to start signing up your teams, we will email you again as soon as registration is open.

In the meantime, pass this email onto anyone you think would be interested in taking part and start getting your teams of five together! You can also take a look at some of the resources, tips and advice we’ve put together to help you stay active by exploring the links below.
