KA Leisure is presenting an exciting opportunity for highly committed individuals to join us with Vacancies in the roles of Chairperson and General Director.  These roles are on a voluntary basis with the opportunity to join a team dedicated to shaping the health, wellbeing, and sporting participation in North Ayrshire.

Being a trustee at KA is an opportunity to be at the forefront of making strategic decisions that directly influence sports participation and health and wellbeing in North Ayrshire.

The Board at KA play an essential role in guiding strategic direction, ensuring financial sustainability and governance, and upholding our “Know the Way, Show the Way, Go the Way” principles that have made KA Leisure one of the most innovative and effective leisure trusts in Scotland.

For 25 years, we have been dedicated to promoting, supporting and inspiring people to lead more active and healthier lives. Our organisation is the driving force of physical activity in the area, with state-of-the-art facilities which include gyms, pools, leisure centres, golf course, sports pitches and more.

Regulated Work with Children/Protected Adults:

Where work is considered regulated work with children and/or protected adults, it is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with children and/or protected adults.  Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by KA Leisure.

Please note:  Successful candidates will meet the cost of the relevant PVG check (£59 for scheme membership and £18 for scheme member update); this will be deducted from wages following commencement of employment with the Company
