Firstly we would like to thank everyone for your patience and understanding. We are working hard to navigate through a very challenging and everchanging situation.

Although many of our KA Leisure Team are unable to carry out their usual duties at their normal place of work we would like to thank the many staff who are fulfilling vital support roles within our sites or by working from home. Essential tasks will ensure the Company continues to function and that we are as prepared as we can be for re-opening whenever that time comes. This includes; continuing to process staff wages, ensuring all suppliers and contractors are paid, completing venue checks to maintain building security and monitoring essential plant, and maintaining golf courses.

Additionally, members of our Community Sport Team have volunteered to support those children still attending school by providing a range of coached activities across the North Ayrshire Community Support Hubs. While members of our Active Lifestyles and Fitness Teams are filming, streaming and posting digital physical activity content to ensure, that despite our venues and normal programmes not able to operate, we are still doing our upmost to ensure that we meet our ambition of North Ayrshire More Active More Often.

If you can, and if it is safe for you to do so, please consider volunteering in your community – you really can help.
You can find out more information and complete the online application form here; http://northayrshire.community/covid-19-updates-for-communities/35201/
